Second Coming and Rapture Verses Side-by-Side Comparsion

1 Cor 15:51-52
1 Thess 4:16:17
Rev 11:15; 19
Rev 16: 17-18; 20-21
Rev 6:12-14
Matt 24:29-31
Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.
For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command
with the voice of
an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.
Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.” ....
Then God's temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail
The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple, from the throne, saying, “It is done!” And there were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, and a great earthquake
such as there had never been since man was on the earth, so great was that earthquake. And every island fled away, and no mountains were to be found. And
great hailstones, about one hundred pounds each, fell from heaven on people
When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake, and
the sun became black as
sackcloth, the full moon became like blood, and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree sheds its winter fruit when shaken by a gale. The sky vanished like a scroll that is being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.
Immediately after
the tribulation of
days the sun will be darkened
and the moon will not give its light, and
the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then will appear in heaven
the sign of the Son of Man, and then
all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven
with power and great glory.
And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will
gather his elect from the four winds from one end of heaven to the other

I've had these verses in my mind for a long time as a sort of proof text, but I have never lined them up side by side and color coded them before. I color coded them based off similarities in each passage. The first 2 are the 'popular' rapture verses, and when you placed them next to other passages in the scripture that deal with Christ 2nd coming, You can see the similarities. It's clear, a least to me, that all these verses are talking about the same event given all the similar words and phrases that are being used to express and describe the Christ's return.

There are many other verses I could have used, but this seemed sufficient for now. The words "Caught up" and "will gather" have the same root word in Greek. It doesn't occur very often the N.T. That is why it is in Bold Lettering, as is the phrase "Immediately After the Tribulation" to highlight the point the rapture according to this text occurs after the Trib when the angel given the final trumpet call, the moon, stars, and sun are changed forever, there will be an unprecedented great earthquake, unbelievable storms and hail, and every mountain and island will be no more. On that "great and terrible day of the Lord" shall Christ Return and the rapture will occur, not 7 years before in some secret coming according to the "Left Behind" Scenario (speaking of which, Kirk Cameron is on record of being post-trib not pre-trib lol). I digress,

Look this isn't about me trying to prove I am right and others are wrong. And obviously our salvation in Christ isn't really impacted by this belief. But what if the Antichrist showed up soon and signed a 7 year treaty with the Jews, and Christians weren't taken up or gathered up like how they  were told it was going to happen. Millions would be angry and upset at God and the Church because they were taught a 180 year old lie, leave in what Paul called the great falling away (or apostasy, see 2 Thessalonians 2:3). Look,  if I am wrong and the pre-tib is right, I am happy to change my Theology mid-flight, but if I am right...I want my heart and soul to be prepared for wast Jesus said would be the hardest times to be his followers in the history of the Earth. We are living in crazy times, and they're only getting more crazier...As Jesus warned us: Watch, Be Ready!
